Orly Klimshtein
CEO
Orly has worked in the social sector all of her professional life. For 12 years she ran, after founding, an NGO called Avangarde: the public sphere for social entrepreneurship, establishing growth and creation centers for youth and their families. She has a BA in Psychology and Communications from The University of Haifa, a certificate in Drama therapy from Tel Hai college, and a graduate of graduate of the joint JDC/ government program for leadership and governance.

EEW is a feminist organization committed to assisting women from disadvantaged sectors of society.
Vision


Dganit Luks
Director of Programs and Business Development
Dganit has a BA in gender studies, humanities and social science, a certificate in group facilitating from women's leadership program (WIZO), marketing and managing of cultural institutions program and is a graduate of Goren school of graphic design. She is an independent graphic designer and art director in leading advertising agencies in northern Israel. She's volunteered for many years with young women dealing with cancer.

Claudia Goodich-Avram
Resource Development Director
Claudia has an MA in Sociology with an emphasis in Women's Studies. She worked for many years as program coordinator at Kidma, a project for the advancement of women at the University of Haifa. She was born in the US and grew up in Haifa and has been living here ever since. Claudia has been involved in the world of women's and social change NGOs, especially in Haifa, for almost two decades.

Liora Mikdashi Niazov
Program Coordinator: Center and Southern Israel
Liora has an BA in Education and Arabic studies and MA in the studies of Arabic calture and is a teacher and personal coach, a graduate of a local municipality program and directors course. She is also a social activist and volunteer in the field of leadership and gender in Rishon Lezion where she resides.

Randa Haj Yahya - Khotaba
Northern Programs and Partnerships Coordinator
Randa holds a BA in business administration and communication from the Hebrew University and has completed courses in Arab women’s leadership and mediation. She was the project director for “Arab society – Saharia” at the NGO Shacharit and coordinator of the “Ya Salam” Arabic studies program at the Abraham Fund Initiatives. Randa was an advisor to the minister of science, the parliamentary assistant to two members of Knesset and she is a certified teacher. She is married with two children, Mayar and Majd, and lives in Arabe.

Programs and Services
A Business of One's Own
A Business of One's Own: EEW's flagship program, considered pioneer in the field of entrepreneurship, economic empowerment and business training in Israel. A yearlong program, in which the participants, mostly from the geographic and social periphery ,receive business training, and undergo a process of personal empowerment.
Business Development Services
Business Development Services are provided over five years to grow existing businesses and increase the personal income earned from one's business. They include advanced business training and industry related seminars; Business Incubation; Business marathons; computer trainings; regional business forums; Financial orientation and one-on-one and small group business coaching.



Community Partnerships
EEW is located in Haifa and runs programs throughout the country. These programs are run in cooperation with local municipalities, government agencies, NGO's and foundations that provide loans to small businesses and work in the field of economic empowerment and women. These partnerships are very valuable to EEW and enable us to reach hundreds of women every year and help them begin businesses of their own.
Our Graduates
Since its establishment, EEW has served over 5,000 women from underprivileged populations in Israel, including ultraorthodox, Arabs, new immigrants, single parents, and women over 45. Activities have taken place in over 85 locations, and EEW has played an active role in the establishment and growth of over 1,800 small businesses in a variety of fields.
